"Church Art and Archeology Review is a scientific journal of the Moscow Theological Academy on the art of the Orthodox Church from antiquity to the present day.

This magazine covers the history of Christian iconography, the study of church art and architecture, Christian archaeology. Particular attention is paid to monuments and collections of the Moscow Theological Academy's Museum "Church Archaeological Study" and collections of other church museums. The magazine deals with the art of orthodox books, both manuscripts and printed ones, as well as the whole complex of problems connected to the art of Christian graphics, both printed and original. A special section of the magazine is devoted to arts and crafts. The journal covers problems of restoration, new events and phenomena in Church Art.
