Fr Andrew (Sukhorukov) (14 February, 1937 — 12 February, 2010)

Abstract

On the feast day of the remembrance of the great universal teachers and hierarchs Saint Basil the Great, Saint Gregory the Theologian and Saint John Chrysostom, February 12, 2010, Archimandrite Andrey (Sukhorukov), the inhabitant of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, ended his church and monastic ministry. For many years, during the rectorate of His Eminence Archbishop Alexander of Dmitrov, Archimandrite Andrei was a member of the faculty of the Moscow Theological Schools and worked as the economist of the joint household of the Lavra and the Academy.
