The Third Theological Seminar The Exegesis and Hermeneutics of the Holy Scripture

Abstract

On 29-30 November 2007 the Moscow Theological Academy hosted the First All-Academic Theological Conference (aka III Theological Scientific Conference "Exegetics and Hermeneutics of Holy Scripture"). The decision to hold annual theological conferences was made by the Academic Council of the Academy. This year the Biblical Studies Department was responsible for holding the forum. The conference was dedicated to the memory of the great exegete of the Orthodox Church, St John Chrysostom, in connection with the celebration of the 1600th anniversary of his death. The forum lasted for two days and featured speakers from both Russia and abroad. This is the third annual conference organised and hosted by the Department of Biblical Studies of the MDA.
