Abstract
On 14 November 2008 at about seven o'clock in the morning in his flat in Moscow, he died of a massive heart attack, one of the oldest workers of the Moscow Theological Schools, the permanent assistant to the pro-rector for Educational work of the Academy, Professor I.V. Vorob'ev. The news of Ivan Vorobyovitch's death, which stunned everyone with its absolute unexpectedness, soon spread throughout the Russian Church, and caused pain in the hearts of those who knew, valued and respected this modest, honest and devoted to church service man. The late professor had spent 45 years of his life in the Academy. He began his work here under Patriarch Alexis I and carried on this ministry until his death.
