A Sermon on the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God on Sunday of the Adoration of the Precious Cross
Abstract
In the passage from the Gospel we have just read, dear Fathers, Brothers and Sisters, we heard about the appearance to the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Archangel Gabriel, who announced the good news that from her the Saviour of the world our Lord Jesus Christ will be born. This event, called the Annunciation by the Holy Church, is celebrated today.
