Abstract

Pastoral Theology, one of the key disciplines of spiritual education, had its own definite "trajectory" in the curriculum of the Moscow Theological Academy, which is discussed in some detail in the article by Sr. Pavel Khodzinsky and N. Y. Sukhova1, published above in Theological Herald. What follows is a synopsis of the lectures on Pastoral Theology, based on the student notebooks2 taken by students on duty for the 1909/10 academic year. As is well known, most of such notebooks on various subjects of the academic course turned out to be in the 172nd collection of the Russian State Library's Scientific-Research and Research Institute. However, this notebook is one of a small number of study documents from the pre-revolutionary era, which are held in the library of the Moscow Theological Academy.
