Эта статья посвящена проблеме арабской терминологии, которая содержится в коране и связана с темой рая. в статье рассматриваются шесть терминов: 1) ʔl-ǧannatu (ةُ َنجَ ْلا) рай, 2) ʔlfirdawsu (سُ ْوَدْرفِ ْلا) рай / его высшее место, 3) ǧannʔtu ʕdnin (نٍ ْدعَ تاَّنجَ ) (сады) Эдема, 4) salsabīlun (ليبِ سَ ْلسَ ) сальсабиль (название источника в раю), 5) sidratu l-muntaha (ىهَ تنمُ ْلا ُةَرْدسِ ) лотос крайнего предела 6) ʕilliyyūna (نويُّ ِلعِ ) высшие сферы в седьмом небе, куда возносятся души умерших. различные авторы переводили их по-разному, поэтому, чтобы понять их истинное значение, необходимо изучить их этимологию, контекст и соответствующие корни слов в родственных языках.
