Abstract

A brief description of the new master's program of the Moscow Theological Academy in the field of «Liturgics» is presented. In 2004, with the formation of the Department of Church-Practical Disciplines, a master's program was created under the name «Pastorology and Liturgics». In connection with the allocation of a new master's program in the profile «Modern Canon Law» at the Department of Church-Practical Disciplines (the admission took place in the 2021/2022 academic year), the task arose to reorganize the master's program «Pastorology and Liturgics». To resume the training of specialists in the field of worship, the curriculum of the program was revised, which was reflected in the correction of its name: «Liturgics». The main goal of the reorganization of the profile is to focus the educational component on the training of future teachers of the course «Liturgics» of theological schools of the Russian Orthodox Church and specialists-researchers in the field of Orthodox worship. Recruitment for the new program has been announced for the 2022/2023 academic year.
