Abstract

This article examines the positive images of the clergyman presented in a number of works by I. N. Potapenko, and also outlines the main aspects of the ministry, on which, in the writer’s opinion, the success of the pastor’s ministry depends. On the basis of these aspects, a conclusion will be made about the integrity of the understanding of the purpose of the priesthood by I. N. Potapenko.
