The work of N. A. Berdyaev «The Worldview of Dostoevsky» is a philosophical interpretation of the writer’s work. Striving to know the spiritual world of F. M. Dostoevsky, N. A. Berdyaev comes to the conclusion that the writer is an anthropologist, which means that he seeks to show a person not only from the external (social) side, but also from the spiritual side. According to the theologian, the spirituality of a person manifests itself when confronted with freedom — this can be traced in the works of F. M. Dostoevsky. For a writer, freedom is associated with a choice between good and evil. How the characters cope with this choice is of interest not only to F. M. Dostoevsky and N. A. Berdyaev, but also to modern researchers.
