As an example, the modern reproduction of the "Jerusalem image" in the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in Yasenev (the project "Icon of the Holy Land") is given. Practical types of educational activities based on the iconic method of the mission and implemented in the parish are described in the second part of the article.
