Legal Protection of “Religious Feelings of Believers” in Russian Federation

Abstract

The introduction of criminal and administrative liability for insulting the religious feelings of believers in the Russian Federation caused an ambiguous assessment. The article considers the necessity of introducing this responsibility, the concept of insulting religious feelings of believers, the position of the Russian Orthodox Church, the legal community, and society.
