Leaving the Church Youth from the Orthodox Church: an Analysis of the Main Reasons

Abstract

This scientific article deals with the problems of the departure of the Church
youth from the Orthodox Church, which have become apparent in the Church environment in
recent years. The analysis of the main causes of the young generation's churching is carried out.
The necessity of solving the key moments of secularization on the basis of deepening the youth
direction of parish activity and rethinking Church life is revealed. The analysis of the selected
causes shows the seriousness and depth of the problem. One of the main components of the
change in the trend of separation is the emphasis of pastors and Church leaders on their own
example.
