The article examines the history of the formation of the diptych and the place in this list of Rusny Orthodox Church. Currently, the diptychs adopted in different Churches,
sometimes differ from each other. This question sometimes becomes a stumbling block.
and a subject for controversy. The formation of the modern diptych was influenced by
various factors: the antiquity of the Churches, the chronological sequence of
autocephaly, as well as the political significance of cities with cathedrals of the first
bishops.
