The article deals with the case “Perovs v. Russia” on the violation of the right to education of their children according to their own religious beliefs, enshrined in Article 2 of Protocol I to the European Convention on Fundamental Human Rights, 1950, the final decision on which was made at the meeting of the third section of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg on October 20, 2020.This article is devoted to a detailed analysis of this decision, as well as the sig- nificance of the ECHR decision for Russia.
