At present Praxis is the only scholarly journal in Russia that specialises in this area, aiming to present the most current research on the history, theory and practice of these disciplines as widely as possible. The editors invite cooperation not only from students and staff of Russia's oldest institution of higher learning but also from other ecclesiastical schools, Russian and foreign universities.

Praxis is recommended for publication by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church.
