Abstract

Readers are offered a modern literary experience of the translation of the First Epistle to the Corinthians by St. Apostle Paul into the language of poetry. As a poetic form, the author chose for this purpose the most complex form of a sonnet wreath. The preface to the text itself provides a rationale for the preference of this form over others, a brief outline of its history and theory, as well as problems of literary reception of the Holy Scriptures and, especially, the texts of the New Testament
