Abstract
The third issue of Questions of Theology includes papers presented at the International Research Theological Conference on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the death of Archpriest Georgy Florovsky (1893-1979), an outstanding Orthodox theologian, philosopher, and patrologist. Archpriest Georgy Florovsky is known to be a Hellenist, and Christian Hellenism is his measure of the historical and theological processes that took place in the Church. This approach has been variously evaluated, but in one way or another it lies at the heart of Father Georgy's assessment of ancient Russian theology, whose account makes up the first chapter of Ways of Russian Theology, being an image of high culture theological thought in the complex and topical field of Church science.
