Abstract

Representatives of the theological schools of the Russian Orthodox Church played a significant role in the ecumenical and inter-Christian activities of the 20th century. But, the participation of professors of the Moscow Theological Academy in the work of the World Council of Churches is not reflected in any way in the scientific literature. In connection with this gap, the purpose of this article is to review the activities of the professors of the Moscow Theological Academy in the work of the World Council of Churches. The main sources for the article were the published numerous documents of the WCC, which are still little studied in Russian church history.
