  • Biblical Scholia

    "The Biblical Scholia" is a journal established by the Department of Biblical Studies at the Moscow Theological Academy.
    The magazine is a joint effort of the Department of Biblical Studies of the Moscow Theological Academy. The publication involves a comprehensive study of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments: philology, archaeology, theology, exegetics, hermeneutics and other biblical disciplines. The main aim and purpose of the journal is to acquaint the reader with the current issues of modern biblical scholarship, as well as with the legacy of the Russian biblical pre-revolutionary school, which is the "golden fund" of the national science.

  • Theological Bulletin

    "Theological Bulletin" is the main scientific theological journal of Moscow Theological Academy. The journal has been published since 1892. It contains materials on a wide range of problems in the field of Theology, History of the Christian Church, Philosophy, Religion, Philology, Art, etc. Each issue publishes reviews of the latest scientific literature published in Russia and abroad.

  • Theological Questions

    Theological Questions is a scholarly journal of the Moscow Theological Academy devoted to the key issues of contemporary theology. Its main fields of research are systematic theology, anthropology, apologetics, philosophy, religious studies, and patrology.

  • The Metaphrast

    Metaphrast is a scientific journal of the Moscow Theological Academy. The journal is being created by the Department of Philology of the Moscow Theological Academy (profile "Greek Christian Literature"). It publishes research by teachers, graduate students and undergraduates specializing in classical philology (Ancient Greek, Latin and Oriental languages), the history of Greek and Latin literature, and the traditions of the Christian East. The journal pays special attention to the publication of monuments of ancient and medieval Christian writing in new or edited old translations into modern Russian.

  • The Church Historian

    "The Church Historian" is a new scholarly Journal of the Moscow Theological Academy, dedicated to the History of the Ancient Church, Russian Church History, the History of the Local Churches and Civil History.
    The Journal is produced by the staff of the Moscow Theological Academy's Department of Ecclesiastical History.

  • Praxis

    Praxis” is a scientific Journal of Moscow Theological Academy dedicated to research in Church-practical disciplines, such as Canon Law, Liturgics, Pastoral Studies, Law, Pedagogy, etc. It combines publications corresponding to passports of scientific specialties of the Russian Higher Degree Commission 26.00.00 (Theology) and 12.00.01 (Theory and history of law and the state; history of the teachings on law and the state).

  • Word and Image: Questions of Slavonic and Russian Philology and Literature

    "Word and Image. Questions of the Study of Christian Literary Heritage" is a scholarly journal of the Philology Department of the Moscow Theological Academy. The journal publishes monuments of Christian tradition (primarily in Slavonic-Russian), the results of their study, studies of Christian literary heritage in general, archival materials.

  • Church Art and Archaeology Review

    "The Church Art and Archeology Review" is a scientific journal of the Moscow Theological Academy on the Art of the Orthodox Church from Antiquity to the present day.
