Abstract

"Jesus, Paul, and the Early Church" is a collection of essays written over the past 25 years by Eckhard J. Schnabel, a renowned German (now U.S.-based) Protestant biblical scholar. He is a Distinguished Professor of New Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The book consists of seventeen essays divided into three parts: "Jesus the Teacher-Messiah" (chapters 1-2), "Paul the Theological Missionary" (chapters 3-7), and "The Early Church: A Missionary Reality in Historical Context" (chapters 8-17).
