Abstract

In modern scholarship on Paul's Epistle to the Hebrews, it is common to note that Scripture is presented there not as a written text, but as divine speech, spoken by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Madison Pearce, the author of the monograph under review, goes significantly further than this assertion in her observations. The book is a revised version of a doctoral dissertation defended in 2017 at Durham University.
