Abstract

The author explores the biblical history of the post-Babylonian period in order to establish similarities between, on the one hand, the priest Ezra’s occupation of eradicating mixed marriages, his intercession before God, and on the other hand: between the event of the Exodus, the establishment of the cult of the golden calf under Moses.
