The article provides an overview of new books on the history of temples in Moscow and the Moscow region, published in 2019. Each of the books is analyzed in the context of the historiography on the topic, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the editions. The content of each of the books is revealed, and attention is drawn to the source base of each of the studi es. For a complete description of the level of new books about the temples of Moscow and the Moscow region, brief information is given about the authors of new books, indicating their main works on similar topics.
