The origins of images of memories by T.V. Rozanova (On the Ma terials of the Manuscripts Department of the Russian State Library)

The article for the first time examines the history of the creation of "Memories" by T. V. Rozanova. It shows how the technical work on writing the work was going on. The history of receipt of the manuscript for state storage in the Department of Manuscripts of the State Library of the USSR is given. It is noted what information was added to the memoirs in the process of their creation. The circle of persons who provided practical assistance in working on memoirs is given: K. V. Aggeeva, A.M. Florenskaya, N. M. Nesterova, A. N. Bogoslovsky, Y. P. Ivask and P. A. Zhurov. The initiative role of the literary critic P. A. Zhurov in motivating T. V. Rozanova to create this literary work is indicated. The philologist's critical remarks on the final edition of the memoirs are presented in detail. The article introduces the history of the appearance of memories to the reader. A. N. Bogoslovsky and Y. P. Ivask played an intermediary role in the appearance of fragmentary texts in the foreign press. For the first time, it is indicated that various versions of the full editions will be published in the author's homeland. The article notes the rearrangement of the text as part of the entire work in all the editions presented to the reader, as well as a significant increase in the volume of the work from the first edition to the last.
