The Epistle to the Hebrews stands apart from the rest New Testament due to its extensive and deep use of Old Testaments' images and concepts. A few of them, which are extremely rare or even absent in other New Testaments' books, in their interplay build the basis for the whole Epistle. The author of this article making analyses of soteriological issues tries to discover the wholeness and mastery of Scripture interpretation taken in the Epistle. Doing that he pays close attention both to the main theological lines of the Epistles and to the specifics of exegesis of some its perts.
