Abstract

The Zondervan publishing house is well known in academic circles for its literature on biblical studies, including the life and teachings of St Paul. Although the Orthodox scholar of the Apostle of the Gentiles cannot always agree with the conclusions of scholars representing other Christian denominations, he is nevertheless obliged to know their works and be able to give them a critical theological assessment. This is especially true of the monograph under review, whose authors present four different views on the thought and theology of St Paul.
